Izzy (any pronouns) is passionate about collaboratively creating free resources, starting their journey doing so in 2016 alongside friends and community members creating resources such as pro bono DACA renewal consultations and Know Your Rights presentations. More recently, they developed target and survivor-led reporting processes and a training and development program that supports whistleblowers and combats workplace violence. Their ongoing research efforts are focused on creating target-centered resources and strategies that comprehensively combat workplace bullying and harassment for the labor movement and beyond. Izzy currently volunteers with their local community in the South to create access to free medical resources and information.

Izzy’s experience as a disabled and queer person in the South is shaped by being a part of a multigenerational disabled Latine family, as well as their work experiences in the service industry, in a higher education setting, in the creative field and in the legal field. They also love crafting whenever possible!

Izzy has a Bachelor’s in English with a Minor in Sociology from Texas State University and a Master’s in Communication from Arizona State University.
