HomeBase – a Better Living Together initiative

Oct 1, 2026

A person with short, dark hair, wearing glasses and carrying items for a home is looking over his shoulder at a smiling person wearing glasses while both climb stairs.

Homebase is a fully accessible website covers housing-related content for disabled people in Georgia, including:

  • Explanations of housing vouchers, Medicaid waivers, and affordable housing programs
  • A directory of communities in Georgia that serve the IDD community
  • Guidance for creating your own inclusive community

Grounded in more than 10 years of research and lived experience, HomeBase is free to use, contains no advertising, and collects no personal information.

The portal will grow, evolve, and strengthen as we add the most current information and respond to user engagement.

While HomeBase was created for the disability community, the site has something to offer anyone looking for housing and seeking greater independence.
